2025 BASEBALL season one for the history books
Joshua Owls fall to grapevine in three, but '25 a huge success
Head coach Albert Carrizales and the 8-5A district champion Joshua Owls dropped their Class 5A DII area round series to the defending state champion Grapevine Mustangs two-games-to-one, but that doesn't diminish the accomplishments of an historic season for the Owls.
Joshua won 23 games overall (third-most in school history), 13 games in district play (tied for the most in school history), and won the outright District 8-5A championship, becoming just the second Owls' squad to do that in the last 45 years.
Congratulations to the coaches, players, managers, parents, and fans of the 2025 Joshua Owls baseball team. It was a hell of ride, and I'm glad I got to be a small part of it.
